The Story Behind Karmasangbad
This is not just another information website. Karmasangbad started from a real frustration – and it continues because of a real need.
How It All Started
A few years ago, I was trying to help a relative figure out whether they were eligible for a government scheme. We searched everywhere online. Some websites gave half the information, some had outdated details, and a few were just plain wrong. We ended up spending an entire afternoon going back and forth — and still weren’t sure about the answer.
That afternoon stayed with me. I thought – if someone like me, who is reasonably comfortable with the internet, is struggling this much, what about the millions of people who are not? That is honestly where the idea for Karmasangbad came from. Not from a business plan. From a problem I lived through.
My name is Sudeb Sarkar, and I run this website from West Bengal, India. I started Karmasangbad because I wanted to build the kind of resource that I wish had existed that afternoon — something accurate, simple, free, and written by someone who actually understands what readers need.

Founder & Chief Editor – Karmasangbad.com · West Bengal, India
I handle all the research and writing on Karmasangbad myself. Before publishing anything, I spend time verifying details from official sources – government portals, official notifications, and reliable references. I do not republish content from other sites or simply reword what is already out there. If I am not confident about something, I do not publish it. That is a rule I have kept since day one.
I grew up in West Bengal, and I understand the kind of information that people here — and across India – actually search for. That local understanding shapes everything I write.

There are no shortcuts in how Karmasangbad is run. Every article goes through research before it is written, and I revisit older articles regularly to update anything that has changed. Government rules and scheme details change often, and outdated information can genuinely mislead people. That is something I take seriously.
I also do not write about things just because they are popular or trending. If it is not genuinely useful to someone reading it, it does not belong here.
“Getting information right matters more than getting it out fast. I would rather publish one reliable article than ten rushed ones.”
Why It Is Free
Karmasangbad has always been free and will stay that way. I believe people should not have to pay to understand their own rights, their own government schemes, or their own career options. The website runs on advertising, which helps cover the costs, but the content itself will never go behind a paywall.
