Who Cannot Apply

Families that pay income tax also cannot apply. Women whose family members are regular government employees, pension holders, or people working in high government posts like MPs, MLAs, or directors of government boards are also not eligible. If the family owns a four-wheeler vehicle other than a tractor, then they also cannot apply for this benefit.
Documents Required
To successfully apply for the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, women need to provide a few important documents. These include an Aadhaar card for identification, a photograph of the applicant, and a domicile certificate to prove that she belongs to Maharashtra. If the domicile certificate is not available, old ration cards or voter ID cards issued more than fifteen years ago can also be used. An income certificate is needed only if the woman has a white ration card, but not required for those who hold yellow or orange ration cards. In the case of newly married women, the husband’s ration card can be given as proof. Apart from this, the woman has to provide her Aadhaar-linked bank account details and an affirmation letter.

After filling in all the information, she has to upload the necessary documents and finally submit the application.
